Our clients are hiring a Senior or Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing technology team. This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on infrastructure leadership, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and application integrations. You’ll be part of a small, agile team (currently 7 members) tackling a range of strategic integration projects expected to span 3–4 years and beyond.
Role Summary
They’re seeking a versatile and experienced Senior I.T. Infrastructure Engineer who can wear multiple hats across infrastructure management, cloud operations, cybersecurity, and end-user support. You’ll take ownership of several long-term integration and migration initiatives, while also handling high-level support (typically no more than 2–3 support calls per day).

Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure & Services
- Manage Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking)
- Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune)
- Lead cloud migration and ensure smooth hybrid operations
- Design and maintain DR/business continuity solutions
- Application & System Admin
- Administer and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments
- Maintain hosted application environments for performance and reliability
- Document configurations, processes, and technical troubleshooting
- Integration & 3rd Party Applications
- Design and implement API-based integrations with SaaS tools
- Evaluate and onboard new platforms based on business and compliance needs
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners on integration efforts
- Cybersecurity Leadership
- Define and implement org-wide security protocols
- Lead response to security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Ensure regulatory and best-practice compliance (e.g., NIST)
- Conduct risk assessments and security audits
- End User & Technical Support
- Provide escalation-level (3rd line) support when needed
- Promote user training and documentation (e.g., guides, FAQs)
- Ensure user satisfaction and minimize disruption
Essential Experience
- Proven track record in IT or Systems Engineering roles
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices (e.g. NIST frameworks)
- Experience integrating APIs and working with SaaS platforms
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
- Hands-on with Microsoft Entra / Azure AD
- Familiarity with network infrastructure (especially cloud networking)
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM modules
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Exposure to cloud-based telephony systems
