Who are you?
You are a Quality Control Professional, who is involved in inspecting products at different phases in their development to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. Your duties include performing visual inspections, recording quality issues and planning processes to decrease the instance of defects in products. You have experience creating automation tests and possess the drive and capabilities to automate much of the regular testing needed to increase the efficiency of the development and testing cycle.
Responsibilities
- Create quality measurements to track improvement in products
- Creating test plan automation procedures
- Writing and reviewing testing plans
- Investigating causes of defects that occur during the testing phase
- Execute quality improvement testing and activities
- Develop quality assurance standards and company processes
- Ensure the product meets the expectations as described in the user story
- Responsibility for sign-off of the release after testing
- Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing
- Work closely with the development team to improve existing products

Requirements
- Degree in a related field preferred
- Proven experience with tooling for QA
- Working knowledge of products with front-end UI testing and back-end API testing
- In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies
- Sharp attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of scripting languages
- Applying technical skills related to the product being tested is a plus
- Experience with tools like Postman, Selenium is a plus
