Job Description
A mid-senior level Test Automation Specialist to manage a critical project for one of the biggest clients in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.
Requirements
- Years of experience needed – 6 to 8 yrs.
- Previous experience of building and enhancing test automation framework in a regulated environment within Banking or Financial Services sector, recent RBS/NWG experience is highly desirable.
- Data is all around them so it is key they have experience of working with Streaming & Batch technology stack – Confluent Kafka, Mongo DB, Streamsets, IBM CDC, Hive, Hadoop, API, Informatica, Airflow, and other similar technologies
- SME level skills and experience of troubleshooting and resolving day to day issues relating to test automation
- Strong hands-on skills and experience of working with modern programming / scripting languages, troubleshooting and resolving day to day issues – Java, Python, Groovy, JavaScript, TypeScript or similar
- Strong skills and knowledge of Public cloud technologies to enable Cloud First delivery – AWS EKS, EC2, S3 Buckets, Athena, Lambda, Glue and other services
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience of global distributed delivery across UK and India
- Background in Testing and/or an understanding of E2E Testing process (functional and non-functional) in a Scaled Agile delivery
Technical Skills
- Apache JMeter with Groovy scripting
- TestCafe (Node Package Manager) – JavaScript / TypeScript
- PySpark – Python and Spark
- GitLab Source Code Management
- Atlassian JIRA/Zephyr and REST API
