Junior Front End Developer

The Role

Our clients are seeking a motivated Junior Front End Developer to join their team in Hampshire, UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with limited professional experience to develop their skills in front-end development. As a Junior Front End Developer, you will work closely with experienced developers to build and maintain user interface components using Vue.js, Angular, React, or Node.js frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of user interface components using Vue.js, Angular, React, or Node.js frameworks.
• Collaborate with senior developers to integrate front-end components with back-end services.
• Participate in code reviews, learn from feedback, and maintain coding standards.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design requirements into functional front-end code.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in front-end development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Some experience or coursework in front-end development using Vue.js, Angular, React, or Node.js frameworks.
• Basic understanding of web markup languages, including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and its core principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn from experienced team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and preprocessors such as Webpack, Babel, or SASS.
