Fullstack PHP Engineer

The Role

As a Fullstack PHP Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the engineering team, developing solutions for clients’ digital products. Your expertise will help ensure the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of applications while tackling complex technical challenges. This is an opportunity to drive innovation and contribute to high-impact projects.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience developing high-performance, secure, and scalable PHP solutions
  • Proficiency with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Yii2
  • Experience with additional backend technologies like .NET and Node.js
  • Strong frontend development skills using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
  • Proficiency with RDBMS technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL) and indexing tools (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Solr)
  • Experience working in a CI/CD environment on AWS or Azure, with knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Familiarity with unit, integration, and E2E testing using Jest, Cypress, Puppeteer, Mocha, etc.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable, future-proof systems
  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or SNS/SQS
  • Participation in pre-sales and discovery phases to gain a deeper understanding of project goals
  • Familiarity with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)

 

Skills

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Fullstack Engineering role
  • Strong understanding of client business models and requirements
  • Experience working in an international environment with daily English communication
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining industry best practices
  • Ability to thrive in an agile team and collaborate effectively
  • Strong communication skills to articulate obstacles, needs, and expectations clearly and constructively
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Comfortable with a remote-first work culture (but you’re welcome to visit the office!)
