AWS Data Architect

Job Summary

An AWS Data Architect to manage a critical project for one of the biggest clients in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Technical Skills

• Years of experience needed: 10+ years.
• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java (latest versions, e.g., Java 17)
• Frameworks: Expertise in server-side development with Spring Boot (version 2.5+) and Spring Framework (version 5+)
• Data Architecture: In-depth knowledge of data decomposition patterns. Strong experience in creating entities, Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams, cardinality, and normalization, Proficiency in Physical Data Models (PDMs) and Logical Data Models (LDMs) representation
• Data Types: Experience programming with polymorphic data types
• Hands-on experience with Abstract Data Types (ADTs)
• AWS Services: Extensive experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) Proficiency with AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)- Familiarity with other AWS services like AWS RDS, AWS Redshift, and AWS Glue |
• Databases: – Relational databases: Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle NoSQL databases: Experience with DynamoDB and MongoDB
• NewSQL databases: Familiarity with databases like Cockroach DB or Google Spanner Any experience with IBM DB2
• Data Migration: Proficient in using data migration testing tools and methodologies
• Additional Tools: Version control systems: Git, CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes – Monitoring and Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to work in an agile environment
