Application Support Technician

Job description

Under the responsibility of the Application & Data Support Manager of the IT Department (ISD), you will be responsible for the proper functioning of the Information System.

Purpose Of The Position

• Provide advice and assistance to all users of application systems
• Take charge of requests for application evolution in relation with project managers (evolutionary maintenance)
• Manage the exchange of computer data by ensuring the relationship with users

Main Missions

• Provide level 2, 3 support for the entire application park
• Assist and resolve malfunctions encountered by users on all software solutions
• Follow up escalated incident tickets with suppliers until they are resolved. Perform the application design.
• Participate in the deployment of new computer components related to workstations. Perform the application design.
• Write software deployment procedures in the context of business projects and application evolutions and carry out the acceptance in accordance with internal procedures.
• Monitor and plan the corrections and evolutions of application systems
• Provide training for users of internal solutions

Profile

• Minimum baccalaureate +2/3 with extensive experience in user support
• Knowledge of the tools used in medical biology laboratories would be a plus: MCA, EVM, MPL, Hexalis, Kalisil, Clarilab, etc.
