Role Description
- As an experienced developer you will need a solid track record of working in a dynamic environment with a small team to develop scalable, performant, multi-user applications.
- You will be an integral part of their software team and help to deliver market-leading software solving real world problems to a fast-growing global customer base. The role will allow you to expand on your current technical skills in a practical and focused environment with the opportunity to research and use innovative techniques to contribute to the success of their products.
- Travel within the UK and overseas from time to time is possible. You must have a valid passport, the right-to-work in the UK and have no obstacles to obtain airside security clearance.
Experience in the following is essential
- C# with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
- Desktop client application development and RESTful APIs
- Experience with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle) and SQL
Experience of the following is desirable
- Understanding of common Design Patterns (e.g. MVC, MVVM Pattern)
- JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, AWS, WPF and good knowledge of JavaScript front-end frameworks, e.g. JS
- AWS delivery
- Parallel programming (e.g., TPL and PLINQ)
- Source code management with SVN or Git
- Experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) such as Entity Framework
- User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) design skills
