Leading the Data Team in implementing and evolving the Data Strategy, this role involves managing a team of 5 members and steering the development and maintenance the data infrastructure. Reporting to the IT Director, you’ll collaborate across departments, facilitating data-driven decisions and ensuring data assets’ availability and integrity.
- Manage and lead the Data Team, fostering collaboration and innovation
- Prioritize data projects and oversee resource allocation and budgeting
- Drive technology decisions and establish data architecture standards
- Contribute to the Data Strategy, aligning with senior management
- Develop and enforce data governance policies for accuracy and compliance
- Establish a data community, promoting data literacy and awareness
- Create training materials and mentor data specialists across the organization
- Continuously improve processes and share insights
- University degree in Computer Sciences, Data Engineering, or related field
- Extensive professional experience, with 2+ years in team leadership
- Expertise in data engineering, analysis, visualization, and management
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data lakes, warehouses, and visualization tools
- Proficiency in web services, SQL, Python, PowerBI, and Azure Cloud is advantageous
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and emerging BI technologies
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; additional European language preferred
