Agile Scrum Master

Job Description

Our clients are seeking an experienced and certified Agile Scrum Master to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Agile methodologies, a deep understanding of Scrum practices, and the ability to guide their development teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile principles, practices, and methodologies, with at least two certifications such as Scrum Master certified and SAFe certified.
• Coach and mentor teams on Agile best practices, emphasizing collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives) to ensure they are conducted effectively and on time.
• Work in a large and complex organizational environment, applying Agile practices and principles while recognizing when to adapt and be pragmatic, rather than strictly dogmatic.
• Promote Agile values and principles throughout the organization, fostering a culture of openness, trust, and innovation.
• Configure and manage Agile project management tools such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps (ADO) to support the team’s workflow.
• Experience in backlog tracking software migration is preferred, as the role may involve transitioning teams to more effective tools or processes.
• Foster collaboration and effective communication within and across teams, removing impediments that hinder progress.
• Facilitate decision-making processes, guiding the team towards consensus and alignment.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by tracking team metrics and identifying areas for enhancement.
• Encourage teams to learn from their experiences, implement changes, and share best practices.

Qualifications

• Years of experience in Agile software development and project management.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) certifications are required.
• Proven experience working with large, complex organizations and a demonstrated ability to adapt Agile practices to suit the specific context.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira and/or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with backlog tracking software migration is preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
